AMD FX Bulldozer Processors Available on Newegg

The AMD FX Processor series launched today and while AMD said that four CPUs would be made available today we could only find three listed on Newegg. We were also shocked to find the AMD FX-8150 8-core processor was already sold out! We called AMD and found at that the first batch of processors was air mailed in for this mornings launch and that the next shipment is coming in by boat and should be here soon. AMD said that there are no manufacturing issues and that they were aware that both Newegg and Tiger Direct have sold out of the FX-8150 processor. The three AMD FX processors listed on Newegg are as follows:

• AMD FX-6100 3.3GHz 6-Core CPU - FD6100WMGUSBX - $189.99
• AMD FX-8120 3.1GHz 8-Core CPU - FD8120FRGUBOX - $219.99
• AMD FX-8150 3.6GHz 8-Core CPU - FD8150FRGUBOX - $279.99

These prices are higher than the AMD tray pricing, but that is to be expected on launch day!
